For councils

A coffee brand your council can call its own.

Scouting Coffee is designed to give each council a distinct storefront, steady recurring support, and useful troop-attribution reporting without asking volunteers to manage roasting or fulfillment.

The council model

Distinct in public. Consistent underneath.

Every council can have its own visual system and product story while the platform keeps a common commerce, reporting, and fulfillment pattern.

01

Branded storefront

A council-specific name, palette, photography, roast collection, and hosted address create a local experience instead of a generic fundraising catalog.

02

Subscription-first sales

Customers can build a recurring mix or place a one-time order. Each paid bag carries the council's defined commission.

03

Optional troop credit

The customer can choose an eligible unit. That association is recorded for the council, which retains control over its own distribution policy.

04

Supplier fulfillment

The model is intended to send paid orders to the roasting and drop-shipping supplier, keeping coffee inventory away from council offices and volunteers.

Reporting without guesswork

A unit association is useful only when the council can review it.

The planned council report groups finalized order records by reporting period and identifies optional troop associations. Council leaders decide what to do with that information.

  • Council-level commission record
  • Order association by eligible unit
  • Clear separation between attributed and unattributed orders
  • Export intended for council reconciliation

Commission operations

A predictable monthly handoff.

The operating plan is to initiate council commissions on the first Monday of each month, after the reporting period can be finalized.

  1. Close

    Finalize the reporting period

Paid orders, changes, refunds, and reporting eligibility must be reconciled before a commission is treated as ready.

  2. Review

    Prepare the council report

The council receives the order-attribution information needed for its own internal allocation process.

  3. Initiate

    Send the council commission

The transfer is initiated to the council's configured payout destination. Bank processing time may follow.

Launching with Blue Ridge

Build one council experience well, then make the platform travel.

Blue Ridge Council is the launch tenant. Additional councils will require confirmed branding, unit data, payout setup, and fulfillment readiness before a public launch.
